PACCT: Project for Addictions Cultural Competency Training Program
Free Training for Addictions Counselors and Preventionists
Across the state and the nation, there is a shortage of addictions counselors who are represent the cultures of the communities they serve. Many underserved persons are experiencing not only some of the greatest substance abuse problems and are also having poor experiences with prevention, treatment and recovery services. PACCT: The Project for Addictions Cultural Competency Training Program is a recruitment and training program funded through the State of Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services designed to address these issues.
